Beginner course
Start with the basics
Our next beginner classes are expected in January 2027. Dates and enrolment details will be announced closer to the time.
The course usually runs on Monday evenings over nine lessons. The $80 course fee includes the handbook, homework exercises and weekly lesson materials.
Lessons cover the basics of Acol bidding and supervised play. From lesson four, learners can also practise at the Wednesday evening starter session.

A relaxed, supervised session for newer players. You don’t need to bring a partner; a supervisor or teacher will play if needed.
